I get it.

Writing is hard. It's hard to make time, especially when you've got so much on.

I'm writing this email at 2042 after I've already worked a 9-5 (except it was 9-7 today), settled the kids, scheduled my ghostwriting client and chatted with a copywriting client about the next steps for his page.

Oh and I went for two walks because I'm building my energy back up post-illness.

It's been a long day and the last thing I want to do is write.

But I do it anyway.

Because I've seen the power of writing well.

Because I don't believe in excuses

Because it's worth sacrificing a little to hone a skill that will get me paid again and again and again.

But most of all because I love it (even when I hate it).

Every day I get to sit down and type some words onto my laptop, and it changes the lives of people across the world. I get to inspire, motivate, help, persuade and energise people that I've never met. I can make sales, make friends, make art, make money. All from my couch.

All with the power of words.

So even though I'm tired, I'll keep writing.

Because I can't stop.

P.s. It's 2057 now. This email took 13 minutes start to finish. It's not perfect, but writing doesn't have to take forever if you have a solid system in place.
